Our New Interns

Our New Interns

We’ve recently had two new Interns start at Snapshot Media – they’ve settled in really well, are doing a great job and we wanted to give them a chance to introduce themselves:

Emma Coates

To introduce myself – I’m Emma Elizabeth Coates, one of the two new interns at Snapshot Media. A born and bred Yorkshire lass with a passion for design, the power of words and the business world. Very excited to be working for such a great company and what great fun the first few days have already been.

I’ve recently graduated from University in Business and Management Studies and am rather driven to really become immersed into work and what a place Snapshot Media is to start. My work experience in the past has been a little bit of this and a little bit of that from being the friendly face behind the bar to selling designer shoes at Harvey Nichols. Although working in retail has many downsides I must admit my shoe collection is now one to be proud of! Seriously speaking now, I am greatly appreciative of the experience I have gained in many different sectors from recruitment to events and more.

What better way to approach clients than to already know how they work! Work life aside my greatest love is traveling and piecing together fantastic memories through photography. Marrakech has been one of the best places to really capture the true atmosphere. Although nowhere near as skilled as one of our Directors Lawrence, I one day hope to be and therefore I’m going to be looking into working on some HDR images soon. We have lots of rather fantastic projects coming up too so don’t forget to get in touch; we’d love to meet up for a coffee to have a chat about how we could help you and your business.

If you’re anything like our team here your business will mean the world to you and we can really help to take it forward whether it be small tweaks to your existing website or a full rebrand and promotion.

Tom Faller

Hi, I’m Tom. I like to think of myself as a personable Northern chappy. I’m a local lad and have lived in the York area for my entire existence other than the time I spent at Uni (which actually ended up being a considerable amount of time though that’s a story for another day!)

I’ve just finished university at De Montfort University in Leicester, originally I began an Architecture degree, but soon realised that it wasn’t the career that I had imagined and that it was a passion rather than a career choice.

Having had this epiphany I had to have a major re-think and asses what qualities I had and where they were best suited. This is what lead me to take up Law as my degree of choice. Not only did I think that I would enjoy the academic side of it and the intellectual stimulation that I would get from it, the degree as a whole was also universally applicable in a large amount of areas, so if I didn’t want to specifically become a lawyer it would still be of great use elsewhere.

Snapshot Media seemed to be that ‘elsewhere’ that I stumbled upon. Having had almost continuous minor involvement with Snapshot Media since its inception, it seemed like a logical step to continue my association with the company by applying for the position of Graduate Media Internship which had recently become available. Not only did I have some familiarity with the services they provided and the people involved, I had a desire to learn and expand my skill-set.
