Video for The Yorkshire Mafia
Snapshot Media are a part of the 3000-strong Linkedin-based networking group, The Yorkshire Mafia. We’re currently working on the new website for the group and as part of this process we shot a short film at a recent networking event in York.
Gathering short testimonials and comments from members allowed us to portray the group and it’s advantages as well as showcase some of it’s members in a quick and easy way.
The intro features Geoff Shepherd and Sat Mann, the “Dons” of the group. We shot some photos of them in a York studio before the event and incorporated these into a mafia-themed intro to the video.
We don’t currently offer film or photography as a standalone service, however we are always happy to help clients out with both as part of a web development project. The video was shot in 1080p HD on a 5D Mark II, L-series Canon lenses and an external Røde microphone. Editing and compositing was done in Final Cut Pro and Motion.
