The Yorkshire Mafia
The Yorkshire Mafia are a networking organisation based in Yorkshire. We built a fully content-managed web design which incorporated advanced features such as event registration and video that we had shot and edited at one of their events for them.
There are approximately 3,000 members in The Yorkshire Mafia, so this project was quite a big one for us – we’re actively involved in the group and are participating in the upcoming Yorkshire Mafia Conference in March 2011.
In true mafia spirit we looked for a digital media firm from within our own membership. Snapshot Media have done a great job designing and developing the site for us.

Using Expose CMS for this website once again allowed the client easy access to insert and edit the content on the site and we developed some very useful extensions to the core CMS that we will be using in a few other upcoming projects.
Mobile Formatted Version
As part of this project we also created extensions to Expose CMS which allow a mobile-friendly browsing experience of The Yorkshire Mafia website. These are tailored for iPhone but also work across a variety of different mobile operating systems.
As part of the scope of this project we were also responsible for shooting a number of photographs at a recent York drinks evening for the networking group – just one of the value-added services beyond web design that we are capable of offering our clients.
The completion time from specification to launch of this project was approximately 4 weeks, including the design of the whole site.
